Our ingredients are fresh, but our pizza recipe is over forty years old! The doors to a little pizzeria west of Chicago opened in the spring of 1964. Good friends, Bud and Walt, created a stir with the delicious square cut pizza that you’re able to enjoy today. From the first dough rolled, these hand-made pies were a hit. Bud and Walt’s pizza place enjoyed many years of pleasing pizza lovers until their retirement.
Fortunately for you, the tradition and recipes have been revived! Thanks to our hand-made dough, unique sauce and specially seasoned ingredients, our pizza stands for quality and delivers an unbelievable taste that is unmatched. When your pizza, built just for you, emerges hot and crisp from the oven, we give it our signature square cut for you to enjoy.
Today at Bud and Walt’s, we also have from the original menu our great-tasting Italian beef and sausage sandwiches which are truly a Chicago mainstay. We have expanded the menu to include a variety of great tasting salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, desserts and broad line-up of beverages.
